Musical baton

May 17 2005

I’ve been passed a musical baton.

Total volume of music files on my computer:

Since I downgraded to a laptop with a measly 20GB total disk space, my music consumption has been fairly limited – I tend to clean up as I go. It’s probably around 2-3GB at the moment.

The last CD I bought was:

Interpol – Antics. This album is phenomenal (thanks must go to Jon Hicks among others for bringing it to my attention).

Song playing right now:

The Pi soundtrack (Clint Mansell)

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:

  1. Slow Hands – Interpol
  2. The Girl Who Wanted To Be God – Manic Street Preachers
  3. Round Here – Counting Crows
  4. Operation Blade – Public Domain
  5. Just A Rascal – Dizzee Rascal

Five people to whom I’m passing the baton (apologies if you’ve already been hit up):

Chuck Mallott, Rob Mientjes, Dan Oliver, Michael Green, Kate Bolin.
