Blog Design, Part III

Aug 26 2004

Following the discussion on Asterisk concerning the design of blogs, wherein I proudly denounced staid established design practices, many have pointedly noted that this site is not exactly a shining beacon of bleeding-edge design prowess.

So, in an attempt to prove that I can not only talk the talk, but self-righteously walk the walk as well, I’ll be undertaking a step-by-step redesign and reinvention of my blog, with two stated aims:

1. It will work as a blog
2. It won’t look like all the other blogs

Chapter 1 – Establishing User Objectives…

...will follow just as soon as I get my laptop working again.

matt, its been a few weeks since I ventured over to your site … looks like you’ve had some vigorous conversations :)

You’ve really got some good content going on your site. Very inspiring to me – keep it up.

I’m really looking forward to your redesign … very admirable. Let me know what I can do to help.
